Plant Supervisor

Job Summary:

As a Plant Supervisor at Oblum, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing our manufacturing operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. With at least 7 years of industry experience, you will lead a team of production workers, manage resources, and contribute to the achievement of production targets.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Supervise Plant Operations: Oversee day-to-day manufacturing activities, ensuring adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of production personnel, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Resource Management: Manage production resources, including equipment, materials, and manpower, to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and enforce strict quality control processes to maintain product consistency and meet industry standards.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure a safe working environment by implementing and enforcing safety policies and procedures.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and waste minimization.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records, production reports, and documentation required for compliance and analysis.
  • Inventory Management: Supervise inventory levels, track stock, and collaborate with procurement to ensure adequate supply of materials.
  • Performance Metrics: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and take corrective actions as necessary to meet production goals.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including maintenance, quality assurance, and logistics, to streamline operations and resolve issues.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs and provide skill development opportunities for the team.
  • Emergency Response: Lead emergency response and incident management efforts, ensuring the safety of employees and assets during critical situations.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a manufacturing or production supervisory role.
